What did you do with umbrellas before Dripdrop?
We were ordering 1000 umbrellas per year, the quality was not always very good and the umbrellas were not returning to the hotel. It was a lot of money lost, and it was horrible for the environment.
How does Dripdrop fit with your values?
I think Dripdrop is a success story for a lot of reasons - it’s sustainable and innovative, it’s a match with the guests, and it’s a mindset that fits perfectly with the brand image of MSocial. For every rental a tree is planted, and as it’s the first thing people see when coming into the lobby, our mindset can be seen straight away. Dripdrop is the “sexiest” sustainable initiative.
In what ways has the Dripdrop stand impacted guest satisfaction? Have you received any feedback from your guests?
Since the first day of our partnership with Dripdrop, our guests have accepted our stylish umbrellas; as planting is monitored and followed-up, we know exactly what impact our initiative has. No more expensive “Throw-away or Forget-Me” umbrellas , but a healthy and intelligent access system.
