Integrating with intention
As part of the Radisson Collection portfolio, guest expectations and their hotel standards are exceptionally high. The team's goal is simple: ensure every guest enjoys memorable moments throughout their stay and feels supported at every stage of their journey.
Like many hotels, Radisson Collection Hotel, Grand Place Brussels previously supplied branded umbrellas through an existing supplier. While practical, the team was looking for a solution that could simplify operations while aligning with the hotel's wider sustainability objectives. Introducing Dripdrop was not without its challenges.
Introducing Dripdrop required a thoughtful approach. In a historic, design-conscious environment, any new service must feel like a natural extension of the guest experience rather than just an operational addition. While there were initial questions around how the stand would fit within the atmosphere of the property and how guests would respond to the concept, both staff and guests quickly embraced the service. Over time, it became a part of the guest journey, with overwhelmingly positive feedback.
Designed to fit right in
One of the reasons the transition proved successful was the simplicity of the stand itself. Rather than competing with the architecture or visual identity of the property, the stand’s understated design complemented the lobby environment while remaining discreet and functional. For luxury hotels, the most effective services are often the ones that integrate well into the environment that they feel as though they have always belonged there.
