Dolphin Square, one of London's most iconic residential communities, has spent the last several years transforming its resident experience through an ambitious restoration programme. Alongside major investments in leisure facilities, wellness spaces and communal amenities, the team was looking for smaller touches that could make a meaningful difference to everyday life. Dripdrop became one of those additions.

When Dolphin Square first introduced Dripdrop, the goal was simple: enhance the experience for residents and onsite teams.

As part of its investment in resident amenities, Dolphin Square was looking beyond physical spaces to the everyday services that shape the resident experience. The team wanted practical additions that would enhance convenience and deliver value. Dripdrop offered a simple solution to London's unpredictable weather while fitting naturally into the building's elevated amenity offering.

Simple to implement, easy to manage

The onboarding process was straightforward from day one. Installation was completed with remote support from the Dripdrop team, and ongoing management has required minimal effort. Regular checks ensure umbrellas remain available, but beyond that, the system largely manages itself.

Many Dolphin Square residents commute into central London each day. Having umbrellas readily available in the building means they can simply grab one on their way out and return it later, without needing to plan ahead or carry their own.

Residents were curious from the moment the stands were installed, often stopping to ask questions and learn how the service worked. Once they understood the concept, feedback was overwhelmingly positive.

Supporting a sustainable future

Alongside enhancing resident experience, Dripdrop also aligns with Dolphin Square's broader sustainability ambitions.

The property is currently undergoing a major restoration programme focused on improving environmental performance, including energy efficiency upgrades and modernised building systems. Dripdrop's commitment to reducing waste and supporting ocean plastic removal initiatives complements these efforts and contributes to the building's wider ESG objectives.
